FOGSTAND Press is an independent artist book press developing a growing portfolio of publications made in close collaboration with artists.
We are interested in the artist book not simply as a reproduction of an existing practice, but as a space in which an artist can reconsider, extend, and transform their work through the possibilities of the page.
Our publishing program develops through relationships with artists whose practices invite sustained conversation around form, material, sequencing, image, text, and circulation. Each publication is approached as its own project, with the development process becoming part of the work itself.
Alongside our publishing program, FOGSTAND Press offers Riso printing, book design, and production services for artists developing independent publications and printed projects. These services are offered through inquiry and conversation rather than as an open or unsolicited production service.
We work with artists when there is a shared interest in developing the project and when our experience, equipment, and approach can meaningfully contribute to its realization.
